Dr. Islam AMRO

Dr. Eng. Islam Amro is an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at the Arab American University and serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Modern Sciences,

Dr. Amro's Has Several Patents, Researches and  Publications on several ICT fields, His career spans academia, Regulation, public policy advising, and private sector business development, where he has played key roles in innovation management, project management, Artificial Intelligence in Industry, and cybersecurity strategy.

Notably, He is an advisor for the Palestinian Monitory Authority on Cybersecurity for Banking Sector, in Addition, he authored the National Palestine Strategy for Cybersecurity coordination with the government of Palestine and the United Nations ESCWA.

Dr. Amro Served and Supported in Several fields in Higher Education, International Organizations, Law Enforcement entities, Innovation Hubs, Artificial Intelligence Organizations, Regulators and Compliance Organizations, Currently introducing and developing Closed and Privet AI infrastructures for critical and government Entities in Palestine.
