This intervention will present the state of the art of AI in the Arab region, highlighting major milestones such as the Arab AI Strategy, the Arab AI Ethical Charter, and the Arab AI Initiative. It will showcase advances in infrastructure, governance, research, and applications, while framing the current state, key challenges, and emerging opportunities within the Arab region’s AI innovation landscape. Participants will gain insights into how different ecosystem players, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, academia, and industry, interact, where collaboration gaps exist, and how these collective achievements are shaping a unified vision towards building an inclusive and competitive Arab Intelligence Society.

Participants will discuss how national strategies can align with regional and global visions, drive cross-border collaboration, and shape a future where AI is adopted responsibly, ethically, and effectively across the Arab region and beyond. It will discuss also the best ways to developing effective AI regulatory and governance frameworks that address regional priorities and international standards.

This workshop will explore the practical implementation of Responsible AI and ethical principles.
